As the Government Senior Sales Engineer , you will lead our sales efforts in government accounts and public sector undertakings (PSUs). You will play a pivotal role in generating revenue, identifying opportunities, and driving LogicLadder product offerings in the government sector. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales engineers dedicated to government sales.
Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Generate revenue from government accounts and PSUs, meeting or exceeding set targets.
- Collaborate with government accounts to identify opportunities, assess use case fitment, and present LogicLadder product offerings.
- Proactively scout tenders floated, driving the generation of new tender requirements.
- Conduct negotiations and effectively pitch specifications and value propositions in pre-bid meetings.
- Lead the bid process, including tender submissions (RFI and RFQ) in coordination with the pre-sales team.
- Implement persistent follow-up strategies for supply orders, payments, and new business development.
- Engage in detailed discussions about product features, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and transactions in the company CRM.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of sales strategies.
- Ensure timely recovery of receivables from the applicable government accounts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in B Tech, Diploma in Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT/ product sales in government sector
- B2B product/software- sales is required
- Sales and business development expertise.
- Strong understanding of LogicLadder products and their applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Negotiation and contract management proficiency.
- Persistent follow-up and relationship-building capabilities.
- Data management and CRM proficiency.
- Team management and leadership abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in SaaS sales in the sustainability sector and government sector
- Excellent leadership, team management, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Great technical, organizational, and analytical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales and penetrate new markets
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with various sales software tools Zoho, (Hubspot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, MS Office, Google Drive etc.).
Good to have :
- Experience in the software/SaaS/IoT industry.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Familiarity with public sector tendering procedures.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
