About the Position:

Lodha Group is developing integrated townships in Palava near Dombivili. Spread over an area of 3000 acres and 10-15 years, Palava aims to be India’s most livable city – having being designed and benchmarked on every important aspect of livability on a global scale: public spaces, urban appeal, walk to work opportunities, smart city, eco-sustainability, health, education, security, connectivity and lots more.

The person in this position will lead the engagement of Palava smart city IT architecture development and implementation throughout the development lifecycle of the project.

Roles and responsibilities

As Lead for integrated township IT architecture, the person will interact with external IT consultants and system integrators, OEM partners and solution providers to create & develop the Palava smart city IT blueprint and lead the integration of various smart city elements. Also, will be responsible for technology evaluation, IT governance, phased roll-out of IT solutions, training and handover to township operations team.

1. Visioning and ideation of customer-facing and governance features for a City IT Blueprint

2. Working with various vendors to create Integration Roadmap & Technology Architecture for Palava smart city

3. Create a project plan for implementation

4. Create RFP for design & development and implementation of various technologies from different vendors during the lifecycle along with integration points and interoperability guidelines

5. Program management and delivery of IT solutions proposed working with various vendors including their inter-operability with other solutions

6. Evaluate new requirements as they arise and liaise/work with new vendors to incorporate and implement in Roadmap

The person will report to Head of IT, Lodha Group and Development Director of Palava.

Education and Industry exposure:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from reputed institutes

- 7-14 years experience in IT services, consulting, systems integration services like portals, ERP, billing systems, etc

- Experience in integration architecture, design and implementation of IT architecture and program management of system integration solutions or projects

- Experience in working with OEM providers, software application developers, hardware and networking solution vendors

- Prior experience and domain knowledge in developing IT blueprint, architecture or application development for real estate (integrated townships) or infrastructure companies either with the firm or as IT consultants will be required

- Excellent Vendor management and program managements skills required to carry out plans to execution
