Role Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for CEO'S office working with senior leadership in formulating strategy & measurement of business KPI'S for all the functions along with Market entry, product, innovation and GTM strategy for the LGDI Platform asset classes pan-India. Core role comprises of assessing different markets / micro-markets across India, staying abreast with market dynamics such as demand-supply, competitive benchmarking and rental / cost trends and product definition and innovation happening in the asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
Market assessment:
- Major reports of industry, market & global trends. Benchmark against the best of class and regular connect with property consultants, transaction brokers and bankers to understand market dynamics across Tier I and II cities in India.
- Tailor appropriate solutions for local business. Develops strategies and initiatives to drive growth through acquisitions. Performs research and leverages internal and external data to provide input for business case development. Maintains an awareness of general economic, competitive landscape, business, and financial conditions.
- Will maintain central repository of market information i.e. major lease deals, vacancies, demand/supply across micro-markets, land transactions, costs and other information.
- Support CEO in formulation and execution of strategic direction and key projects at the company level.
Product intelligence and innovation:
- Understand new developments in products and innovation in GDI asset classes that are happening globally.
- Provide strategic inputs for venturing into new product segments and such as industrial, cold storage, multi-tier warehousing - market sizing, pricing, volumes and growth.
- Ability to conduct primary and secondary research through data bases, inputs from property consultants, end clients.
Competition benchmarking:
- Pick market intelligence and evolution on competition - market entry, new products, commercial innovation
- KPI Benchmarking
Skills:
- Strategy, commercial real estate, logistics and industrial parks, market assessment, benchmarking, financial modeling
Qualification:
- MBA with 2-5 years relevant experience
Practice and Other Requirements:
- Prior Work experience: Relevant experience if 2-5 years at CEO/ MD Office as analyst or equivalent position with an institutional developer / fund in industrial & logistics parks asset class.
- Should have worked on market assessment and strategy for this asset class
- Seller Relationships: Existing relationship with property consultants and other information sources will be a plus.
- Working commercial knowledge of this asset class.
- Ability to manage data and derive insights for investment and other business decisions
