- To be the Think-Tank for the Sales team by constantly developing new initiatives that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
- To act as the critical link between Sales and other linked departments (Marketing, Planning, Customer Care)
- To develop sales vision and agenda for each effective sales period
- To evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of the sales team by intelligent sales force allocation
- To review, plan and execute various in-centivisation techniques and procedures
- To drive and vet alternate sales activities for the segment
- To ensure compliance & control of sites in the segment by constant monitoring of sales as a function - processes, pricing and deviations from the same
- To ensure Marketing and Customer Care support for each segment to deliver volumes
- To ensure constant tracking and response to competitor activity for the segment
