This includes critical city utilities like power, water, communication as well as hard infrastructure like roads, landscape etc. As of date, in the space of urban infrastructure development and sustainability, Palava has accomplished several noteworthy features such as  - 100% recycling and reuse of water using state-of-the-art sewage treatment plants  - Provide 24x7 electricity to the city by developing, operating and maintaining the upstream and downstream power infrastructure  - Pilot of smart energy and water metering  - Optic fiber network and Wifi across the entire city  About The Role:  The role will entail planning and development of all infrastructure elements and sustainability initiatives in Palava. It will provide opportunities to the incumbent to learn and develop a career in the fast-growing space of urban infrastructure and utilities with hands-on experience in a Greenfield project.   Key Responsibilities:  - Prepare design briefs for urban infrastructure elements and public utilities  - Evaluate commercial models like Build-Own-Operate or Private-Private-Partnerships  - Prepare RFP's and shortlist vendors and operators  - Develop strategic and long-term relationships with partners  - Work with various functions within Lodha Group such as Design, Procurement, Construction Management and program manage roll-out of large infrastructure related initiatives in Palava  - Continuous research & development, learnings from global examples and benchmarking and stay abreast with technology and innovation  The person will be part of the Operations Strategy team for Palava and report to Strategy Lead for Palava infrastructure.   Who We Are Looking For:  The applicants should have 3-4 years of experience in urban infrastructure in at least 2-3 domains from the following:  - Power transmission and/or distribution  - Water sourcing and distribution  - Water / waste-water treatment and recycling  - Data and communication technologies such as optic fiber, telecom etc  - Street lighting  - Solid waste management  - Public transportation  - Renewable energy  Education And Industry Exposure:   - Engineering and Post-Graduation and/or MBA from Tier-1 institutes in India or abroad  - Experience in Infrastructure practice of top tier Consulting firms (e.g. Mckinsey, Accenture, Feedback Ventures) and / or Companies in area of urban infrastructure (e.g. GE, Siemens, Schneider-Electric etc.)  - Should have 3-4 years of relevant experience in strategy and / or operations  The Person:   - Strong problem solving skills with a practical sense of what works in an organizational setting  - High motivation levels with a 'can do attitude'   - Self starter looking for an exciting and transformational work environment  - Possess strong communication and negotiation skills  - Strong program management capabilities demonstrated in large scale projects  What We Offer:   - Ability to build expertise in a sunrise sector with a company committed to innovation and transformation.   - Accelerated trajectories entirely based on meritocracy.   - Overseeing of company's different cells & get P&L exposure  - Intellectual stimulation that equals the Big 3 strategy consulting groups, but with the impact of seeing and making it happen in reality   - Strong visibility with senior management   - Competitive compensation with leveraged performance based variable compensation and opportunity for wealth sharing.   - Individual based organizational development plan and training opportunities with consulting like development inputs.
