About you

You are expected to improve an organization's market position and achieve financial growth. Define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. To achieve this, you will need to find potential new customers, convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. You will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

- The primary role is of concept selling of location centric products to solve customer's pain points and prospect for new clients by networking, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.

- Ability to express a high-level of decisiveness. Strategic planning is a key part of this job.

- Proven ability to navigate and thrive in a rapidly changing environment and collaborating across geographies, cross-functional boundaries and promote change and innovation Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with LocationGuru.

- Develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.

- Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

- Work along with mid and senior level management, marketing, and engineering team.

- Manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company.

- Develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. Keep abreast with knowledge of the market, solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company's competitors.

New Business Development:

- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.

- Target as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.

- Research and build relationships with new clients.

- Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization. Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.

- Demonstrates effectiveness in linking product features/benefits to prospect or client needs.

- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.

- Participate in pricing the solution/service.

- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.

Client Retention

- Effectively builds and maintain partnerships with clients, Present new products and services. Maintain flexibility and reacts to change appropriately. Communicates and shares information with candor that builds trust and enhances relationships.

- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Business Development Planning

- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.

- Makes fact based decisions and follows through to completion, analyses and uses data to achieve sales goals, drives execution, initiates action and follow-ups to successful completion, effectively demonstrates how solutions will solve prospects or client's problem(s), continuously conducts post call debriefs and performs pre-call strategies.

- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Management and Research

- Submit progress reports and ensure data is accurate. Continuously manages administrative functions to ensure quality and timeliness, manages accurate and timely sales activity and performance reports, analyses report data to project trends and build forecasts, maintains accurate and complete prospect and client database.

- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.

- Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light. Understand the company's goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company's performance.

- Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.

- Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities.

You should possess:

Domain Expertise

Sound experience of 6-8 years into Telecom IT product sales with hands-on expertise in Concept, Solution selling.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Possess excellent technical and persuasive presentation and negotiation skills that couple well with solid software, engineering skills
