Job Description:
A Local Product Expert (LPE) will manage all business development aspects of partnerships, with a primary focus on partner enablement. The role will balance presales support and partner (implementation) training with the focus of enabling the channel network.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years pre-sales/ functional / implementation experience in Retail Domain.
- Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client discussions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
The LPE in acting as the liaison between Channel Manager and Partners will be responsible for:
- Manage and be the main point of contact for existing alliance partners.
- Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, pre-sales, training and support.
- Will be responsible for Partner Enablement, i.e. - Train partners to effectively implement and support products, conduct monthly training webinar, create e-learning videos
- Aggressively drive partners to certify implementation consultants
- Identify upwell opportunities in existing customer base
- Actively participate on Client knowledge portal, i.e. - create knowledge articles for partners and customer, communicate on forums
Client LPE will manage and undertake the customer implementations and maintain all project documentation including project plan, blue print document, Gap Fit Sheet, Implementation Templates, Minutes of Meeting, Test Cases, UAT Sign-off, Project Sign-off and Handover to support document.
On the consulting projects, a LPE will:
- Maintain complete visibility of daily activities, project planning and progress on the Client Project Management System.
- Communicate masterfully with partners on new products and service offerings.
- Work with Product Development to understand new features and functionalities and effectively communicate to partners.
- Managing a complex, enterprise solution sale with Client partners; to include managing the RFP process.
- Continually learning about new products and improving selling skills.
- Demonstrating industry knowledge.
- Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.
- Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
- Preparing written presentations, reports, functional designs and battle card Success Metrics

Education: Bachelors degree required. MBA preferred.
Additional Requirements : Must be able to travel up to 25-40% of the time. Qualified candidates will be required to conduct an in-person presentation and submit a writing sample.
