Modern Trade Sales Manager - Food Division
Lo! Foods is looking for a Senior Sales Manager who can build our Offline and Modern Trade Sales channel. This includes working directly with Modern Trade accounts, as well as appointing distributors where necessary and opening up geographies. A very essential part of role would be a detailed understanding of instore advertising, display & sales.
The role will be based out of Bangalore, and responsible for National sales.
Candidate Profile:
- We are ONLY looking for candidates with (5-7 years) years of Sales experience in FMCG or Consumer Goods space.
- At least 3 years of Modern Trade experience.
- Experience in entering new Channels
- Experience in launching a new brand / sub-brand.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in packaged Food Space.
Principal Accountability :
- Responsible for achieving market leadership for the overall Packaged Food business for Low Carb and Keto products in the Domestic Market.
- Building the entire offline distribution strategy and execute to have a presence in key outlets of modern trade in identified geographies.
- Owning and hitting/ exceeding annual sales targets
- Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Build a sales team over time, as and when the business grows.
- Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Candidate Abilities:
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
