- Responsibilities of the Marketing Automation Manager
- Conversion & Retention Strategy
- Set the short and long-term vision for every stage of the customer lifecycle,
- Developing a strategy and roadmap to deliver the vision.
Marketing Automation:
- Develop and manage marketing automation workflows using platforms like HubSpot, etc
- Implement and optimize email marketing, WA campaigns and calling campaigns to nurture leads through the marketing/sales funnel.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of automation campaigns to ensure maximum ROI.
Data Management & Analysis:
- Maintain and segment the marketing database for targeted campaigns.
- Track and report on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, booking rates and cost metrics as well.
- Utilize analytics to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
Journey Optimisation:
Work with data teams to analyze the effectiveness of customer acquisition and retention campaigns and the impact they have on end-to-end customer experience.
Stake Holder Management & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders from across the business to identify opportunities for marketing automation & communication to reduce costs, increase sales and improve efficiencies.
- Train and upskill the marketing team, develop governance and use best practice methods and to ensure successful delivery of Whatsapp & Email marketing campaigns.
Content Development:
- Work with content creators to produce engaging and relevant content for lead nurturing campaigns.
- Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines and messaging.
Marketing Automation Manager Qualification:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing automation and lead nurturing for a lead based business.
- Experience in marketing automation, retention marketing or a wider digital marketing role for a high growth B2C Technology business.
- Experience in setting up automated campaigns in popular Marketing Automation tools connecting various communication channels like email, whatsapp, sms.
- Experience in implementing web tracking technologies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel etc).
- Expertise in translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Ability to pivot quickly and make fast decisions based on changing needs in a high growth environment.
- Strategic mindset that can see beyond the day-to-day to help the business achieve long-term customer acquisition and retention goals.
- Comfortable with working to tight deadlines and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects
