Design Manager

Livspace is looking for well-rounded Design Manager (Interior designing) with proven expertise and interest in Client Relationships. As a Design Manager at Livspace, your responsibilities will range from understanding client requirements, convincing clients, coordinating with different teams to make sure the more than satisfactory delivery to the clients. You will work closely with Design teams, Marketing team, Installation partners and suppliers in order to deliver to Livspace customers the best interior design experience of their life.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Regular interaction with Clients to understand requirements

- Listening to each client in order to gain an understanding of their individualized needs, in order to direct them to the appropriate product or service

- Manage the expectations of the clients to win their repeat business. Ensure that the city goals are translated into cohort objectives and met to desired SLA

- Provide the Market intelligence and customer feedback and insights to different teams to launch the right promotional and customer communication initiatives.

- Hire, motivate, and manage the cohort managers, community managers, IDs, PMs, etc on a day to day basis.

- Have a strong understanding of both the design req. And customer experience required to maximize business

- Be the voice of Livspace in the territory and ensure the Livspace execution to perfect standards

- Be the voice of the city and customer inside Livspace so that constant feedback is coming in and which helps Livspace improve continuously.

- Drive cash collection to SLA and installations to SLA, target NPS, referrals.

- Understand operational deliverables of accounts

- Knowledge transfer of new assignments, expectations, projects - from Client to sales Operations team.

- Will carry revenue target - meet monthly target, harvest the account for additional revenue Invoicing and follow up for payment with Client.

What you need o Know/Have

1. Strong leadership: Hire, retain, motivate, and look after a diverse team of business managers, interior designers, project managers, etc.

2. CEO of the city territory. Classic combination of EQ + IQ. Creativity meets problem solving. Vision + intellect + judgement + presence.

3. Objective setting: Translate the city objectives cogently for the cohorts and manage to SLA performance (revenue, cost, discounts, etc.)

4. Tracking and training: Invest 10% of team time in training and actively coach the team on the job. Track strong and weak performance and course correct. Reward appropriately.

5. Customer empathy: appreciate the nature of the customer problem and be a trustworthy, knowledgeable partner. Be the voice of the customer within Livspace functions (category, product, customer service, ops, etc.)

6. Business acumen and problem solving: Monitor and troubleshoot customer situations, answer questions about the industry and Livspace confidently, understand the industry and competition, handle objections, and without appearing rushed and ensure business objective is met

7. Be the Livspace leader in the representative city. Be hungry, humble, and lean.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in architecture, design, business. MBA from good institute also preferred.

2. Typically spent 5-7 years in an operating leadership role managing a revenue generating team or teams in either a startup with an experiential product (cabs, eCommerce, furniture, home service, etc.) or selling design products/services through a bunch of designers

3. Strong understanding of PnL for a region, city, etc. Been in a quote bearing role. Hussler.

4. Strongly proficient in internet, eCommerce tech world

5. Interior design, service industry experience is a clear bonus
