As City Head you will :

- Take complete ownership of business critical initiatives - product launches, internal process improvements, category expansion, etc.

- Contribute actively to business decisions through both qualitative inputs and in-depth quantitative analysis

- Have a strong understanding of both the design req. And customer experience required to maximize business.

- Leading, motivate, and manage young and ambitious city team (cohort City GM, Managers, community managers, IDs, PMs, etc on a day to day basis. in running the India's no. 1 online home design company while constantly raising standards.

- Be the voice of Livspace in the territory and ensure the Livspace execution to perfect standards.

- Be the voice of the city and customer inside Livspace so that constant feedback is coming in and which helps Livspace improve continuously

- Own the P & L of a city and manage the critical growth and performance metrics of both the business and people.

- Continually improve the customer experience through greater availability, decreased delivery times, and minimized costs

- Conduct deep research on the city. Know everything about the customer, the competition, city logistics, regulations, and the market opportunity.

- Make sure the market is growing, and do whatever it takes to make it better with every week.

- Strategizing and executing projects aligned with the company vision and setting timelines to reach those goals.

- Create and plan the short and long term strategy for the city and take charge of executing it on the ground.

What you need to know/Have :

- Strong leadership: Hire, retain, motivate, and look after a diverse team of business managers, interior designers, project managers, etc.

- CEO of the city territory. Classic combination of EQ + IQ. Creativity meets problem solving. Vision + intellect + judgment + presence.

- Objective setting: Translate the city objectives cogently for the cohorts and manage to SLA performance (revenue, cost, discounts, etc.)

- Tracking and training: Invest 10% of team time in training and actively coach the team on the job. Track strong and weak performance and course correct. Reward appropriately.

- Customer empathy: appreciate the nature of the customer problem and be a trustworthy, knowledgeable partner. Be the voice of the customer within Livspace functions (category, product, customer service, ops, etc.)

- Business acumen and problem solving: Monitor and troubleshoot customer situations, answer questions about the industry and Livspace confidently, understand the industry and competition, handle objections, and without appearing rushed and ensure business objective is met

- Be the Livspace leader in the representative city. Be hungry, humble, and lean.

Who you are :

- You earned B.Tech or equivalent degree from a tier 1 college (IIT or equivalent top bachelor degree, Or comparable degree in arch/design, MBA from IIM/ISB preferred)

- Typically spent 5-7 years in an operating leadership role managing a revenue generating team or teams in either a startup with an experiential product (cabs, eCommerce, furniture, home service, etc.) or selling design products/services through a bunch of designers.

- Strong understanding of PnL for a region, city, etc. Been in a quote-bearing role. Hustler.

- You have a structured thought process and strong analytical ability.

- You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

- People management skills (direct team reporting in past roles a must)

- Strongly proficient in Internet, eCommerce tech world.

- Interior design, service industry experience is a clear bonus.
