Roles and Responsibilities

- Research legal issues, draft legal documents and present the case before the court

- Specialised in High Court, National Company Law Tribunal and Debt Recovery Tribunal work

- Should be able to appear and argue matters independently in Court

- Conduct research, interview and collect evidence appropriate to litigation cases

- Coordinate, collaborate and support other litigation lawyers

- Manage client databases and update

- Ensure compliance of all local and state laws relating to litigation matters

Desired Candidate Profile

- LLB with 4 -7 years experience in Dispute Resolution

- LLB from a National Law University (NLU) and preferably a rank holder

- Has strong interpersonal skills, is attentive and demonstrates empathy for others by listening carefully and responding with considered questions and comments.

- Demonstrates clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, focusing on the key points in a structured manner

- Excellent research skills

- Build productive and strong relationships both internally and externally

- Must be able to receive and follow instructions given by management, develop solutions to unique problems

- Work well alone or as a member of a team
