Electricity Regulatory Litigation lawyer
Exposure Required:
- Overview of Power Sector and Electricity Act, 2003
- Hands-on experience in a Power/Infrastructure Industry on all Legal Matters
- Should have the knowledge of all related case laws and should keep updated with all the developments in the related subjects
Key Deliverables:- Will be involved in regulatory litigation under the aegis of Electricity Act, 2003
- Active drafting of Petitions, Appeals, Replies, Rejoinders etc.
- Handling internal and external briefings.
- Appearing before State Electricity Commissions, APTEL, High Courts and Supreme Court.
[Position will require considerable Travel]- Handling arbitration matters of companies in the Power Sector.
- Maintaining proper corporate interactions proactively with the relevant local, state and federal governmental bodies and legislatures
- Anticipate and plan for all legal risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks

- Should have the ability to take ownership of matters.
- Should be able to multitask.
- Should have no hesitation to appear before court or to brief senior advocates for matters.
- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skill
