1. Identifying fraudulent trends through portfolio trends in DPDs, spikes in approvals, trends through geographic concentration, clustering methods, etc.
2. Identifying gaps in customer journey that are prone to fraud (internal / external) and documenting these gaps in the borrower journey.
3. Pre-disbursement and post disbursement sample verification for checking authenticity of documents
4. Rolling out Frameworks, SOPs and processes and executing the same till last mile connectivity
5. Review of existing rules and procedures with a view to identify control weakness/eliminate or minimise the scope for corruption
6. Scoping the market for tools for Fraud Analytics & Prevention, Pricing and negotiation of such tools, scoping the landscape and aligning the same for fitment in LL customer journey.
7. Ongoing research and keeping update with the latest fraud trends and providing updates to various departments within the organization
8. Continuous process improvements through Proposals - Solutions - Feasibility - Integration
9. Ensure Fraud benchmarks are achieved with a view to minimize fraud numbers and plug in controls for product/ process lapses identified through proactive & hind-sighting measures
10. Understanding emerging fraud patterns from a strategic perspective and thereby guide the teams to develop effective controls, systems & processes
