Linear Quantitative Research Analyst - Investment Bank

This position is a Quant profile to support the activities of the Quantitative Research Group (cross asset classes) & Linear Quantitative Research (LQR) globally sitting out in Mumbai. The QR team in Mumbai plays a critical role in providing effective, timely and independent assessments of the Firm's booking models of exotic structures and also help in developing new models for structures as and when necessary. This role provides you the opportunity to be a part of the LQR Analytics team in Mumbai.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include :

- Enhancing the analytics platform responsible for producing trading signals that are used by the Firm's execution models to make trading decisions

- Working closely with the LQR models and products team to develop new trading signals

- Building a framework to better capture, view and analyze performance of the trading signals, and their impact on execution

- Extending the platform to make it more resilient, robust and scalable

- Extending the platform to have better intra-day controls and data quality checks

- Liaising with sales and product teams to capture new signal requirements and help develop them.

Essential Skills :

- Computer science or mathematics background

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

- Thorough understanding of Computer Science with high level of proficiency in programming.

- Good Python and KDB skills will be an advantage

- Excellent communication and team skills in a multi-location set up

- Close attention to detail and ability to work to very high standards

- Product knowledge : Good understanding of Equities and Electronic trading will be an advantage.

- Relevant experience in similar roles in Quant Research and building trading signals will be an advantage
