Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize new product features based on data analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and customer research, ensuring focus on maximizing business and customer impact.
- Drive the execution and implementation of product roadmaps, coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing) to manage resources, budgets, and timelines.
- Champion product planning and development, defining customer goals and business requirements for each product release.
- You will ensure seamless implementation aligns with product vision and effectively communicate product positioning to stakeholders.
- Lead product launches, working diligently to meet established goals and ensure cross-functional teams are aligned, prepared, and equipped with launch plans and post-launch monitoring strategies.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product/feature launches, crafting plans that deliver results aligned with both customer and business objectives.
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, actively identify product gaps, and generate innovative ideas to foster product adoption, enhance user experience, and drive overall growth.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial ideation and prototyping to customer research, design, launch, continuous iteration, and ultimately, end-of-life decisions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to constantly improve software delivery best practices.
- You will play a key role in facilitating informed tradeoffs based on customer needs and comprehensive QA/testing processes.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies within the Big Data/Data Analytics landscape, critically assess technological constraints and requirements, and proactively perform risk assessments, building and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure product success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, MIS, or a related field (MBA from a top-tier university is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on SaaS-based technology products.
- Proven track record of defining, developing, and successfully launching new products within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Prior experience defining customer requirements in the Big Data, Data Analytics, or related technology sectors is highly desirable
