Role: Managing the Marketplaces Channel for Beco (Amazon).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Amazon channel, driving sales and achieving revenue targets.
- Develop and implement account-specific strategies to maximize market share and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon account managers and key stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze marketplace trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Take full ownership of the P&L for the Amazon channel.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Analyze sales data, gross profit, and contribution margins to optimize pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
- Implement strategies to improve profitability and achieve financial targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans, including product assortment, supply chain, distribution, and CRM strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, product development) to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in marketplace operations.
- Plan, execute, and support e-commerce operations at all levels, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and enhance brand visibility on Amazon.
- Optimize product listings, content, and imagery to improve search rankings and customer engagement.
- Manage product assortment and inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability and minimize stockouts.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Ensure efficient distribution and timely delivery of products to customers.
- Drive the overall performance marketing function for Amazon through AMS (Amazon Marketing Services), Sponsored Ads, Targeted Display Ads, PLA's (Product Listing Ads), PCA's (Product Category Ads), and other relevant advertising tools.
- Develop and execute targeted advertising campaigns to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximize ROI.
- Analyze campaign performance data and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advertising trends and best practices on Amazon.
- Develop and implement CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
- Monitor and respond to customer reviews, feedback, and inquiries.
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- MBA in a related field.
- Proven experience in key account management, preferably within the e-commerce or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of Amazon marketplace operations and performance marketing.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving profitability targets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with P&L management and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
