Motorola - Head - Pricing & Sales Operations - Asia Pacific
- This position is to support the entire AP region with all pricing related activities, reporting to the global pricing director, part of the global Sales Operations team.
- The Sales Operations team works closely with regional teams and Global functional team on planning and operational activities, driving alignment of processes, execution tracking and governance.
- The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills. We are looking for proactive professionals who are driven by challenges and motivated in work in a very dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on price strategy, from market launch strategies until the end of life
- Support sales on pricing planning, launch strategy, repositioning, promotion setting and elasticity studies
- Lead pricing reviews: track and map competitors, channels and prices
- Provide pricing feedback for product business cases & roadmap studies
- Support deal/contracts review process
- Implement global pricing frameworks and tools to comply with regional governance
- Support global sales ops team with regional specific projects
Position Requirements: Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of related work experience in Pricing or sales support functions with tech or telecommunications companies
- Good understanding of business management. Ability to understand the needs of sales, operations, finance, marketing and product teams.
- Strong analytics, financial modeling, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Highly articulate and persuasive communicator.
- Ability to efficiently establish credibility, work with key internal partners and senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with both Telecom Operators and Retailers
- Experience working with AP region, with ability to work effectively on cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
- Master's degree
