Who are we looking for?

- A passionate and experienced entrepreneurially-minded professional, with phenomenal problem-solving skills

- One who carries a strong awareness and passion for customer needs, to take on the massive challenge of establishing tools, processes and mechanisms to help SME customers take the appropriate insurance product for them

- Will require proven business development expertise, to pitch, negotiate, acquire and manage good working relationships with insurance providers

- This is a greenfield opportunity for an entrepreneurially-minded leader with proven experience in digital/offline marketing, product development/ management and on-field sales

- Person will be responsible for developing the strategic vision for the insurance vertical, and for creating and leading the cross-functional organization to execute consistently to this vision

What would be an added advantage?

- Good experience in a top Insurtech / Fintech company will be helpful

- Knowledge of Insurance products, Insurance market, and workings of Insurance industry will be an added advantage

- Understanding of the loan industry and different types lenders will be helpful

- IRDA approved Brokers License certification will be an advantage

Job Responsibilities:

- Acquire, develop, and manage partnerships with different Insurance companies across Health, Life and General Insurance

- Set up of processes and managing end to end internal operation of Insurance selling to customers

- Managing claims process across multiple partners

- Creating, planning and operationalizing Cross-sell of Insurance product to customer base

- Develop a deep understanding of the insurance partners and insurance industry to uncover new growth opportunities for Lendingkart

- Own communications/interaction with IRDA regarding license requirements and manage regular reporting

- Undergo regular IRDA mandated trainings as required

Basic Qualification:

- 4-6 years of strong relevant experience as mentioned above (Must have)

- A strong academic track record with top-tier MBA/undergrad

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong problem-solving abilities

- Should be able to join within 30 days

- Experience should either be sales/operations in an Insurance firm or Insurtech or operations role in a leading Fintech
