Role Overview:

- The Head for InstaMoney , our Digital Lending app, will oversee the strategic direction, development, and execution of the digital lending portfolio.


- This role requires leadership in driving innovation and efficiency in the digital lending process, ensuring a seamless customer journey, regulatory compliance, and business growth through online loan products.

- S/he will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, credit risk, operations, technology, and customer service, to enhance the customer experience and scale D2C lending operations.


- The ideal candidate will combine expertise in digital lending, app ecosystem integration, and user-centric design, and will be instrumental in delivering a seamless, innovative experience for customers seeking access to credit and financial services through the app.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Strategy Development & Execution:


- Lead the development and implementation of the digital lending strategy for D2C loan products, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.


- Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to refine the lending product suite.


- Drive product innovation and create new digital lending offerings and cross sell opportunities that meet consumer demands while ensuring profitability and sustainability.


2) Team Leadership:


- Manage and grow a high-performing team to oversee the execution of digital lending initiatives.


- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.


- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.


3) Customer Experience:


- Oversee the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a smooth, intuitive, and personalized experience.


- Continuously improve digital touchpoints to optimize conversion, reduce friction, and increase customer satisfaction.


- Implement customer feedback loops and data analytics to measure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement


4) Technology and Product Development:


- Collaborate with the technology team to develop and enhance the digital lending platform.


- Stay ahead of emerging technologies, ensuring the platform is agile and responsive to market demands.


5) Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:


- Work with compliance and risk to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, data privacy laws, and lending standards.


- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that all products and processes comply with DLG.


6) Partnerships and Stakeholder Management:


- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments and third-party service providers.


- Negotiate and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance product offerings and expand market reach, as required


7) Performance Analysis & Reporting:


- Track the performance of digital lending and cross sell initiatives, using analytics and key performance indicators to measure success.


- Prepare and present regular reports on the digital lending portfolio's progress, revenue, and growth metrics to executive leadership.


8) Business Revenue and Growth:


- Ensure Revenue and Profitability targets are met.


- Identify new opportunities to scale digital lending operations


- Leverage marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, drive loan applications, and enhance customer acquisition.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.


- 10+ years of experience in digital lending, fintech, or related industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.


- Strong understanding of the D2C lending market, digital technologies, and evolving consumer expectations.


- Proven track record in launching and scaling digital lending products successfully.


- Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.


- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance, and risk management in digital lending.


- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


- Strong data-driven approach, with experience in leveraging analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement


Preferred Skills:


- Expertise in customer experience optimization.


- Knowledge of digital marketing and growth hacking strategies.


- Experience with mobile apps.


- Familiarity with CRM or MMP tools.
