Corporate Compliances & Ethics Legal Professional - Ombudsman role
Purpose : Institutionalize right set of practices and processes to drive the compliance norms and adherence in the Company. Build and strengthen organizational culture around compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Setting up right practices and process circumventing Compliances at Org level.
- Institutionalize and Develop the key standard operating procedures and advise Inhouse teams for timely adherence.
- Act as Internal trainer for POSH, COBC, ABC, Anti Corruption, Workplace ethics and other mandatory trainings and develop modules around this at Org level.
- Anticipate inclusions and deletions on training Content and take proactive measures to build the framework around it.
- Training need expert and actively involved in creating and delivering these trainings to Process and People managers as well.
- Subject Matter Expert on these matters including Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Mechanism. Advise on Disciplinary proceedings, supported by adequate disclosures required, mechanism to be followed thereby maintain the confidentiality and objectivity of the concerned matter.
- Review existing compliance norms and strengthen it by incorporating new amendments and requisites.
- Serve as a Connect to Business from legal perspective and advise keeping in view compliance requirements.
- Advisory for Cross functional business teams when ever and where ever any compliance support is required.
- Grievance and Complaints Management to find an amicable solution for all including Employees.
- Process improvements and implementation across business lines & Support functions.
- Expert on conflict management and resolution and advise as and when required.
Key Skills -
- Proven track record on performing the role of Ombudsman or similar capacity.
- Strong in Legal background and understands legal implications from Compliance perspective.
- Has grasp on sensitive subjects - Ethics, COBC, Anti Bribery and Corruption.
- Understands and can advise on Grievance Redressal mechanism.
- Process Oriented and Compliant.
- Advisory to Compliance Head and CEO
- Conflict Management and Resolution
- Senior Legal Professional with at least 15-20 years of experience.
Role is based for Corporate Office - New Delhi.
