Hiring a Legal Manager- Trademarks & IPR for one of the topmost Juices and Beverages Conglomerate in India.

- The position is to be based at Mumbai

- Preparing and filing trademark applications in Trademark Registry

- Drafting various notices of oppositions against the conflicting marks.

- Drafting and filing the counter statement.

- Drafting the contract for the licensing and assignment of the trademarks.

- Investigation of trademark infringement, preparing reports on the same and suggesting the course of action for the same.

- Lead negotiations for various deals and commercial agreements, drafted/reviewed numerous commercial agreements and transactional documents, highlighted risks (both legal and commercial) to the directors and suggesting the way forward

- Preparing evidence and affidavits in case of opposition.

- Preparation and prosecution of the rectification proceedings of the trademarks

- Keeping a watch on the trademark journals regarding the conflicting mark.

- Maintaining Trademarks by sending renewal reminders, automatic renewing and reinstatement of Trademarks not renewed in time.

- Prosecution of the assignment of the trademarks pre and post registration cases.

- Provide various foreign clients with the opinion about conflicting marks and to various issue relating to trademark

- Improvising and creating robust systems and processes for legal across functions like marketing, Human Resource, programming etc.

- Actively involve in the litigations for the infringement of trademark and copyright in various courts

- Attend hearing in the Trade mark Registry on behalf of the client for new application, show cause, opposition matters and rectification matters.

- Spearhead various Arbitrations with respect to domain name in ICAAN under dispute resolution policies, - Strategize and managed various recovery matters by applying various provisions of law;

- Assist in litigations in various courts

- Issue various cease and desist notices for the infringement and passing-off of trademark, copyrights, misuse of domain name etc

Qualification : LLB/ LLM with relavant expereince in Trademarks and IPR

Experience : 10-12 years of work expreince in an FMCG company handling trademarks and IPR matters.

Salary & Perks : Best in the industry - Rs.20.0 to 25.0 Lpa
