1. JOB PURPOSE
Non Litigation Lawyer to provide Legal Advice.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Structuring/drafting/vetting/ negotiating documents relating to real estate construction funding transactions, including loan documents, mortgage / security creation documents etc.
- Inspection of title documents of the property inclusive of revenue records, P. R. Cards, mutation entries, title deeds, other related property documents etc. during title due diligence process.
- Review the draft of Title Certificate forwarded by Advocates and Solicitors, coordinating and interacting with them.
- To determine existence of any legal impediments in title of the property/structuring of the loan and advise the Business/Credit team to cure such defects.
- Drafting/Vetting/negotiating of various Agreements/Contracts with Service Providers, contractors, etc.
- Vetting and drafting legal notices as well as reply to legal notices.
- Conducting training sessions for the business team and in-house legal team.
3. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications and Experience :
1. Law Graduate with minimum experience of 8 to9 years in Real Estate construction funding(builder funding) transactions;
2. Experience in independently handling Drafting, Vetting, negotiation of all financing documents, including loan documents, mortgage / security creation documents etc.
3. Experience in independently handling Title due diligence report &Service agreements;
4. Proficient in drafting and vetting Transaction documents;
5. Thorough understanding of Mortgages, Land laws, Stamp Act, Indian Registration Act, housing & construction funding regulation(s) and other applicable laws.
