As a Legal head, you will be responsible for driving the legal cases/ action for delinquent customers with the help of the collection team and branch team.

What you will do:

- Ensuring recovery happens with the help of legal tools for delinquent customers

- Managing the team responsible for legal recourse to recover from delinquent customers

- Managing the local advocates for quick action on given cases

- Being responsible for managing all legal and delinquency-related actions like sending demand notices, LRN, Arbitration, Lok Adalat, and Civil Suits

- Adhering to the agreed TAT for initiating action

- Supporting collection team and branch team to recover from NPA cases

- Ensuring advocates and arbitrators are appointed as per the process

What you need to have:

- 15 years of experience required in Financial services, preferably NBFCs/Banks dealing with Legal cases/Arbitration

- Experience in recovery from the hard bucket is essential

- Willingness to travel 10-12 days for legal and collection-related actions on the ground

- Good communication skills especially in dealing with local advocates/court officials/ police and difficult customers

- Ability to work with minimal direction

- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, delegate, and proactively resolve problems
