Legal Head - (F&B/ QSR - Retail) - LLB/LLM (5-7 yrs)
- Responsible for providing strategic legal advice and guidance including managing all legal risks, ensuring legal compliance and proper contract management within the organization.
- Strong expertise in Contract management : to Assist business in negotiating, drafting and reviewing various agreements.
- IPR Management including trademarks, copyrights, patents, application for new IPR and renewal of existing IPRs.
- Sending cease and desist notices, replying to notices received regarding our website content, handling squatting cases, and filing trademark, copyright and patent applications
- Compliance of all manufacturing licences.
- Managing Compliance , litigation and regulatory issues
- Drafting, structuring and reviewing a wide variety of agreements such as offer terms and conditions, Master Supply Agreement, IT Agreements, Logistics Agreements, Service Agency Agreements, Marketing Agreements, MOUs, NDAs and Warehousing Agreements etc. Must have requisite knowledge of contract documents and specifications with solid negotiation skills.
- Drafting, structuring and reviewing company policies; co-operate with the other divisions in the company by giving legal advice on day to day issues and consultations; Collaborate closely with business partners and support the compliance initiatives, build awareness of legal risk exposures and disseminate legal risk exposure mitigation policies and procedures; Handling communication with internal and external stakeholders; Laying down the Standard Operating Procedure for the functioning of business teams
- For business, participate in negotiation and advice and be involved in preparation of documentation for any mergers, disposals, restructures, strategic alliances, acquisitions of companies.
- Being at the forefront of related policy development in India relevant to India activities. Strong understanding of Indias governmental structures and policy making process. Ability to represent the Companys point of view through strong advocacy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant external contacts and organizations (e.g. external lawyers, lawyers of key customers/competitors, governmental organizations, regulators, trade and industry associations, external bodies etc).
- Minimum 5 - 7 Years' experience in FMCG, QSR - Retail & Consumer Goods Industry.
