Job Description:
- Accountable for overseeing the legal affairs of the organization by providing legal advisory services for litigation and non litigation matters and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.
- Represent the organization in courts, tribunals & solicitor firms for important litigations and arbitration proceedings so as to ensure favorable verdicts.
- Strategizing the legal course of action based on evaluation of facts & legal provisions so as to ensure that litigation's are appropriately handled.
- Guide and Mentor the team on drafting of plaints, replies, documents for litigations and arbitrations to ensure that they are in line with the requirements as stated by law.
- Effectively Liaise with government and institutional authorities, landlords on the contractual arrangement for new and upcoming projects as well and ongoing operations.
- Guide and Mentor the team on drafting of all commercial and legal documents as per the requirement
- Conduct compliance Reviews, effective compliance check-lists, identify the gaps in relation to applicable legal/statutory requirements & ensure the timely closure on Gaps
- Support the HR department on the statutory compliance's for all subsidiaries and for all locations.
- Verify, review and educate the management of the organization about the legal implications of all the internal policies and procedures that in effect within the organization.
Desired Profile:
- 14-22 Years, primarily in Litigation & Arbitration management,Contact management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance.
- Person should be comfortable for 20% domestic and 5% International travel when required.
- Person who has ability to achieve results through a logical,systematic and perfectionist approach.
- Person should be inspirational, manipulative and has the drive to achieve.
- Communication and people skills are also important aspects of the job.
- The person fulfilling this role should be self-starting, competitive, imaginative, direct, influential, persuasive and self-confident
