Legal Counsel - LLB

In this role, you will provide legal support to the company on a wide range of matters, including:

- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts including agreements relating to procurement, service, consulting, distribution, external manufacturing, sales, license, intellectual property, franchise, leave and license and other legal agreements

- Experience with retailers, drafting of basic franchisee, store opening retail contracts

- Experience with legal notices from business partners (sending notices and replying to notices)

- Conducting legal research and providing advice on a variety of legal issues

- Assisting with mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and other corporate transactions

- Assisting in managing and resolving legal disputes

- Working with external counsel as needed

Qualifications:

- LLB degree from a recognized law school

- 2-5 years of experience in a corporate or in-house legal setting. Retail experience or experience in executing commercial contracts will be preferred.

- Strong research and writing skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
