Legal Counsel - Construction Finance

Responsibilities:

- Shall have good knowledge of Indian Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, RERA, Stamp Act (Central & State), Specific Relief Act, applicable Real Estate laws, Companies Act, Factoring Act, RBI, NHB, IBC, SARFAESI and related Policies, Directions, Circulars, relevant Notifications and FAQ's. Monitoring updates and implementation of the same in the work undertaken

- Shall have good legal aptitude, sound drafting and negotiation skills with flair for finding innovative solutions to break deadlocks, be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills in the areas beneficial for the smooth transition of the business requirements of an NBFC.

- Should be abreast with latest developments in legal field.

- Shall be responsible for Legal function of the Centre/multiple locations.

- Advise on substantive legal issues and questions of law, advise the respective business on structure of the transaction, advise business/management on strategic issues in keeping with the changing legal landscape on PAN India basis.

- Monitor legal developments which may affect the respective businesses and provide appropriate legal advice and support in relation to such issues.

- Ability to assimilate complex issues, explain and advise on technical legal points and communicate with all levels concisely and clearly.

- Shall ensure end to end completion of loan transactions with a clear objective of meeting TAT without any compromise on organization's interest.
