Reporting : Manager - Vice President-Legal
Purpose of the Job :
- The function of the Legal team is to follow designed processes, review and approve title search reports issued by empanelled advocates, initiate and manage non-recovery litigations, police station matters, document review, MIS and such matters assigned by the reporting manager/Head Legal
KPI :
Business & Financial Management :
- Review and approve only such property offered as security which is legally enforceable
- Manage cost of external lawyers
- Manage non collection litigation and Police escalations
- Liasoning with Police/regulatory/statutory authorities
- Prepare non-standard documents for lost documents
Customer Focus :
- Clarifying legal queries raised in title search reports
- Provide documentation support i.e. vetting, drafting, modifications of the agreements, notices, petitions, etc.
- Providing support to Non - collection litigations related issues
People / Team :
- Build strong relationship with local police, advocates, regulatory/statutory authorities
- Build capability at branch level to improve productivity
- Improve tat for title clearance
Process / Quality Improvement :
- Implement a process management & improvement framework
- Ensure adherence to culture with focus on Integrity, Discipline, Teamwork (no silos) & Care
- Ensure strong corporate governance, regulatory compliance & adherence to management model
