Responsibilities :
The job holder will, amongst other things, be responsible for the following :
- Assisting in drafting legal contracts and commercial agreements and ensure that contracts are in compliance with legal, regulatory and organizational policies
- Providing company secretary services including drafting Board Meeting minutes, conducting Board meetings, coordinating filings with the regulator, etc.
- Assisting the monitoring of the contract process to assure compliance with the company's contractual guidelines, and satisfaction of internal clients/vendors
- Handling the compliance project for India operations and working with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with India regulations
- Assist in monitoring legal and regulatory developments in the region and assess its impact on the organization
- Assisting in labour law compliances.
Qualifications/Experience/Requirement for the role:
- Qualified Company secretary (ACS) and a qualified lawyer.
- Approximately 5-10 years- post qualification experience working for a law firm or within the legal department of a multi-national company.
