Position: Manager - Learning Strategist
Reporting to : India Lead - L&D
Travel required - Domestic
Location: Gurgaon

Candidate Profile :
- Full time MBA
- 8-12 Years of working experience in Process Training in IT Consulting Organisations like Accenture, IBM, Cognizant, TCS etc.
- 5 years training or organizational development experience successfully managing the development and implementation of learning solutions
- Accountability for, or oversight of, an organization-wide learning program
Job Summary :
- The L&D Learning Strategist serves as the point of contact for L&D Person will understand team level learning and development needs and deliver programs to meet those needs (through vendors or internal design).
- The consultant will plan and execute against an annual team level Development Plan and is expected to work with the manager community (i.e., Manager through VP) to integrate them into the learning process.
It's an individual contributor role.
Responsibilities :
Business Partnering -
- Assesses context for learning and identifies gaps in support, systems and capability that enable effective behaviour transfer (using 40/20/40)
- Identifies and propose business differentiated capabilities
- Defines business objectives that address focus customer's value needs
- Understand strategic drivers of business units and translate the outcomes into development opportunities
- Work towards Business Unit Learning objectives: create plans & strategies which increase the overall BU learning adoption.
- Provide thought leadership on how to deliver learning initiatives
- Partner with other stakeholders to ensure delivery of appropriate solutions
Develop & Design Learning Interventions
- Customizes current learning techno-functional learning content for team/account specific requirements to the business requirements.
- Works collaboratively with Capability Leads, Learning SPOCs and SME's leading to implement learning solutions in a standardized manner and remove duplication of effort.
- Integrates the latest learning approaches and models into design of interventions for improving effectiveness of the learning solutions.
- Design and develop learning solutions that leverage industry best practices, resonate with the key stakeholders and drive business outcomes
- Consult a variety of tools, services, and vendors in considering design and development options
- Developing Learning Plans and Learning Paths at various career stages
Oversee Delivery Efficiency and Program Execution
- Identify success criteria with the business prior to the development of learning solutions - overall SC
- Create strong plans to ensure smooth and efficient execution of the programs.
- Monitor, Track and manage team in on-time, on-quality delivery of effective learning programs
- Developing Reports on success of learning initiatives to be presented to business stakeholders
- Support and enable the achievement of learning measures/targets
- Work closely with other stakeholders to enable smooth delivery of learning solutions
- Partnering with the Vendor management team to ensure best external vendors are engaged to deliver the right outcomes.
- Participate in forums that will enable self-growth, team's growth and the BU's growth
Team Development & Management
- Provide guidance and coaching to the team members to ensure they grow and learn in various areas of learning and development.
- Coaches and develops the team to create higher quality outcomes, and raise credibility within the business.
- Provide constructive feedback to the team members to support them align with L&OD goals, their personal development goals and ensure there is an outcome focused approach in all deliverables with high customer engagement and satisfaction.
Capabilities Required -
- Consulting and Business Skills: Experience in consulting and interacting with VP-level business leaders about the direction of their book of business and resulting short and long-term talent needs.
- Consulting skills: Ability to develop a trusted-advisor relationship with managers of all levels. Examples of consulting skills are: clarifying objectives, asking probing questions, suggesting alternative solutions, driving decisions.
- Influence Skills: Ability to engage and persuade managers of all levels to actively support and drive the development of their staff.
- Planning and Program Management skills: Creation of strong execution strategy and plans, monitoring and tracking of learning program execution, highlighted risks and coming up with mitigation strategies, ensuring the learning program is delivered successfully. Supporting in sustenance of learning programs with consistent delivery and improvement.
- Collaboration skills: Ability to define common interests, manage conflict and problem solve effectively with a broad set of stakeholders.
- Process-bend of mind: Ability to draw a clear process, document and communicate the same and ensuring there is continual improvement to optimize resources and deliver the best to stakeholders.
