Key Responsibilities

Program Implementation

1. Accountable for delivering the program outputs and outcomes, adhering to timelines, and ensuring high-quality work as committed to both internal and external stakeholders.

2. Ability to manage and implement diverse programs across varied locations.

3. Drive innovations in the projects implemented and showcase outcomes and success stories of the programs.

4. Ensure effective and efficient project management systems and processes.

5. Regularly communicate with donors, government, and program teams on project delivery and status.

6. Work closely with donors for regular and consistent monitoring of programs and documentation of the same.

7. Ensure deliverables produced are of high quality

Team Management

1. Work with the Program Heads to create a vibrant work culture in the team that aligns with the organization's values, visions, and goals.

2. Work with internal stakeholders to identify learning and development requirements for the team and deliver on the same.

3. Mentor the team on the effective implementation of the programs. Build and implement an effective culture strategy for the on-ground teams that are focused on the smooth and effective functioning of the programs.

4. Provide guidance and support to the team members and empower them with technological skills, implementation skills, and time management skills leading to a successful implementation of CSR projects at various locations.

Stakeholder Management and Government Relationships

1. Communicate with various stakeholders and teams on a regular basis and able to present the program outcomes at various internal/external meetings or platforms.

2. Coordinate between various internal stakeholders and external stakeholders for impactful communication and delivery.

3. Provide insights that enhance the information represented to the various stakeholders like Government bodies and donors.

4. Responsibility for achieving timely government approvals and maintaining the documentation for the same.

Budgeting and Finance

1. Responsible for managing overall program budgets.

2. Collaborate with the internal finance team and program teams on a regular basis to ensure effective and efficient fund utilization.

3. Forecast effectively to enable the program team to utilize the find effectively on the ground.

MIS / Reporting and Compliance

1. Build and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks for the program and develop key performance indicators for the programs.

2. Maintain and manage monthly reports and annual reports etc. Will be responsible to share the program details and case studies for internal and external use as and when required by the management.

3. Review and oversee all program activities in various locations, measure their performance on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis, and document the same.

4. Responsible for providing support towards ensuring Legal and Regulatory compliances of the organization as required under various statutes of the country

Strategic Support to Organisation Goals

1. Contribute to strategy exercises of the organization, and work with the Leadership to strengthen organizational competencies.

2. Represent the organization and its interests at key external forums.

3. Incubating and Maintaining Key stakeholder relationships.

4. Support with the development of key organization systems and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Master's degree preferably in Development / Policy / Management/equivalent.

2. 10+ years' experience in the development sector with a preference for livelihoods and entrepreneurship, with at least 2 years in senior management roles.

3. Rich experience in program management, team management, and managing senior government and donor relationships.

4. Excellent proficiency in English and regional languages, as applicable.

Travel

- Travel to various locations on a regular basis to oversee the implementation of the projects.
