DIGITAL MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (Education Domain Preferred )

Location: Gurgaon

Reports to: Business Head

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing and Communications Manager will be part of the Marketing and Communications Team with responsibilities of handling internal and external brand building/communications activities. (S)He must have strong written and oral abilities and experience in editing and proof-reading to ensure all materials are of high accuracy and quality. The position holder should also be well versed in digital marketing strategies including social media campaigns and related platforms.

Main Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Duties

The following are the key responsibilities (but not limited) to this role:

- Content development: Develop content (website, brochures, templates, presentations, flyers, posters) for marketing materials for Organisation

- Content writing: Write blogs, articles, thought pieces for internal and external media outlets

- Market research: Do competition analysis, scan Request for Proposal (RFP) calls and update wider team of latest policy developments in India and abroad pertaining to the field of education

- Online surveys: Prepare questionnaire and conduct online surveys involving various stakeholders as per need

- Social media marketing: Support with social media campaigns and manage social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube of Organisation

- Coordinate with designers: Coordinate with external designers and printers to ensure printed marketing and other collaterals are delivered on time

- Event management: Plan and organize events and lead on the event collaterals like backdrop, nomadic, media kit and releases, coordinate with photography and videography vendors, post-production

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

- Post graduate degree in management (MBA or equivalent)

- 5- 7 years of relevant experience

- Excellent written and oral communicative skills

- Fluency in written and spoken English

- Experience of working in education sector (highly desirable)

- Experience of digital marketing involving surveys and using social media (highly desirable)

- Experience of working in development sector (desirable)

- Experience of working with Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

- Excellent project management skills (a certificate of PRINCE2 or equivalent will be bonus)

Compensation

Compensation will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend on candidate's previous experience levels.
