Position : L& D Leadership Trainer ( Learning consultant )

Location : Vikhroli, Mumbai

Exp : Required a person who has experience in Training senior management to middle management

Job Summary

The Learning Consultant has two primary roles:

1) Primary Responsibility for workplace learning and talent management interventions for Leadership Populations across business

2) Serve as an individual contributor or subject matter expert in the incumbent's recognized areas of expertise to all business areas as dictated by business need.

The Learning consultant specializes in the following areas of expertise:

Training Need Analysis and Strategic level Learning & Development Planning

Content Management and Design

Training Delivery for Leadership Levels

Facilitate senior-level groups, challenging discussions, or strategic meetings

Work with managers and individuals to create effective development plans

Learning Technologies

Instructional Design

Evaluating Learning Impact

Implementing and Managing Learning Programs

Apply solid program design techniques

Design and manage complex projects

Performance Improvement

Drive culture shift initiatives to achieve business results.

Principal Activities or Accountabilities

1. Learning Needs Assessment - Assess leaning needs at the individual employee, business area or organizational level using appropriate strategies and tools.

2. Training Delivery - Effectively facilitate/deliver training through classroom and webinar formats.

4. Program Management - Planning and coordination of learning programs such a course offerings, professional certifications, and other educational opportunities. This includes planning, scheduling, communication, promotion and evaluation.

5. Project Management - Serve as project manager or project contributor on any type of training or employee development initiatives.

6. Outcome/Impact Analysis - Measure effectiveness and business impact of programs, resources and initiative.

7. Instructional Material and Resource Design/Development - manage creation of instructional material such as online courses, videos, PowerPoint presentations, classroom materials, job aids and reference materials (print or online). The learning consultant will develop instructional materials and resource but will follow the standards and guidelines of the L&D instructional design team.

8. Talent Management - Work with managers and supervisors to identify and develop high potential/high performing employees to achieve talent management and succession planning goals.

9. Professional Development/Continuous Learning - Continuously increase knowledge and skills within all areas of expertise for learning professionals. Continuously improve organizational knowledge and knowledge of health insurance.

10. Maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

11. Additional tasks and project will be assigned based on divisional and organizational needs.

Minimum Job Requirements

1. Professional level experience in one of the following areas of expertise in workplace learning: training delivery, training management, leadership development, or instructional design.

2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education or a related field. Educational requirement may be substituted with an additional work experience (see requirement #1).

3. Supervisory/leadership experience (full time role with primary responsibilities for coaching, motivating and recognizing employees, monitoring and evaluating work performance, and resolving conflicts). Requirement may be substituted with experience coaching or directly consulting with leaders.

4. Demonstrated proficiency and experience in delivering face-to-face and web-delivered presentations. Applicant must prepare and deliver a 60 minutes presentation as part of the interview process.

5. Project management experience. Applicant will be asked to submit work product examples (e.g. project charter/summary, project timeline, etc.) during the selection process.

6. Demonstrated proficiency in all of the following Microsoft Applications: Word, Outlook E-mail and Calendar, Excel, PowerPoint. Applicant will be asked to submit work product examples and/or to complete specific assignments during the selection process.

7. Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) designation preferred.
