This position is for Senior IP Analyst in Global IP Analytics, under Corporate Global Legal, at Lear Corporation.
The Role:
In this role, Senior IP Analyst is expected to:
- Demonstrate strong IQ, EQ, and capability to work as a team-player
- Handle Patent prosecution and PTO communications, across different jurisdictions under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills and expertise in differentiating invention amongst prior arts to draft convincing arguments/articulation of technical subject matter.
- Demonstrate strong & clear understanding of Patent laws and Patent prosecution life cycle across multiple jurisdictions
- Demonstrate inter-personal leadership skills, capable of handling & triaging project requests in demanding situations and bringing project execution at speed.
- Drive result-oriented & meaningful conversations with inventors/subject-matter experts/engineering & business management stakeholders, on technical and legal subject matters
- Demonstrate clarity of thought, effective project-execution skills, and ability to demonstrate results with conviction.
Academic & Professional Qualifications:
- Engineering background | Bachelors or Master of Engineering
- 4-6 yrs. of prior experience in IP industry.
