- As part of the local Leadmill office in Bangalore, we are looking for an experienced sales manager working with a specific focus on identifying and attracting new advertisers on an international scale.
- You will join the growing team at our office in Bangalore, India. However, you will also have daily contact through Skype/video with the team in our Headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will report to our local Sales Director in Bangalore.
Job Responsibilities :
- Obtain new advertisers (direct brands and agencies) on an international and local scale.
- Work in partnership with dedicated account managers to successfully deliver results on client campaign objectives.
- Work cross-functionally across different teams to articulate and develop new value propositions that meet evolving advertiser needs.
- Full sales cycle responsibility from lead generation and presentation to IO.
- Act as the point-of-contact for key clients, maintain relationships and continuously meet client expectations.
- Post campaign follow- up to ensure repeat business and renewals.
- Accompany on external calls and meetings when appropriate.
- Execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Meet all goals, set forth by you and the management.
- Energetically expand client relationships, advertising campaigns and budgets on an international and local scale.
- Build, track and manage an active sales pipeline to achieve quarterly sales targets and build a broad base of repeat advertisers.
- Attend local and international conferences/industry events as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience :
- Bachelor degree with an MBA degree
- 2-3 years experience within the mobile media industry (network and/or publisher sales, media agency, media house etc)
- Experience with other off/online media is a plus
- 2-3 years of experience working with media agencies
- 2-3 years experience working with direct clients
- Experience with Asia-Pac is a plus
- Proven media/advertising knowledge with demonstrated leadership in pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Proactive with excellent project, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly understand data and share insights.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, willing to take ownership and be accountable, whilst participating positively in the team dynamics.
- Proven track record of developing and closing new advertiser relationships through structured approach to winning new business.
- Exceptional communicator with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think out of the box and plan in a structured manner to deliver on specific quarterly goals.
- Deep network of relationships across the mobile advertising ecosystem.
- Experienced working with the nuances of mobile user acquisition.
