Chief Technology Officer - 

- Lead technology function for rapidly growing start-ups in fintech & e-commerce located in Goa. The position requires experience in working in fast-paced & dynamic setup and building consumer centric & highly scalable mobile first platforms on open source technology stacks. The candidate will need to relocate to Goa.

Key Skills & Responsibilities :

- Build and manage a top-flight technology team and oversee innovation and emerging technology, as well traditional development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and business analytics

- Work closely with the Product Management and Business Development teams to develop world-class products and partner with the leadership team to ensure overall business success

- Ability to manage teams effectively in a high pressure environment with multiple deadlines

- Manage and negotiate with external alliances - vendors, customers & business partners

- Excellent communication and internal personal skills - ability to confidently project expertise and vision to existing investors and potential venture capital firms; play an influential role in funding rounds & in forging large alliances

- Experience of providing hands-on technology leadership in an entrepreneurial / early stage setup. Expertise in one or more of the following preferably from each

- Backend - Python / Django

- Database - Postgres, MongoDB, Neo4j

- Analytics - Hadoop, Spark, Mahout,

- DevOps - AWS, Jenkins, Chef, Docker

- Front End - Android, iOS, React JS / AngularJS

- Ability to lead innovation and motivate cross functional teams to achieve success demonstrating a collaborative style

- Keep abreast of leading edge technologies; anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape

- Create a culture of quality, agility and high performance enabling the company to attract, develop and retain outstanding talent

- Play key role to help improving and optimizing the product development process in an agile (SCRUM) development environment

- Mentor and guide a team of top notch full stack engineers across levels to ensure software engineering lifecycle best practices are followed

Qualifications - 

- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or any engineering discipline from a premier institute

- 10+ years overall experience with at least 3-5 years recent experience leading technology function in start-ups.
