Leadership opportunity - Supply Chain Management Operations - Australian Shift timing
This is a key leadership and strategic role within the Supply Chain Function, with overall accountability in the following 4 areas:
This is a global role, hence the incumbent would need to understand global strategic sourcing and should be able to establish vendor connects across regions. Bring in the required expertise and strategic leadership across the multiple countries managed. Insurance to deliver significant benefits to Genpact in strategic sourcing engagements.
Lead the supply chain management to deliver the results defined in support of the broader business requirements. Execute the transformation strategy across all managed geographies. Lead a high performance culture and ensure proper implementation of leading edge SCM capabilities to become a world class Organisation.
Responsibilities
- Supply Market Analysis including price benchmarking
- Develop Regional Strategy and supporting sourcing strategies implemented for all categories
- Identify Savings opportunities for spend across all clients and deliver on Savings targets
- Gather business requirements
- Sales & Operations planning along with deployment strategy
- Allocation planning and other supply chain functions
- Participate in stakeholder discussions and ensure stakeholder buy-in is achieved
- Lead supplier negotiations and develop negotiation plans
- Drive spend under management
- Owns savings commitment across projects
- Develop global, regional, local implementation plans
- Develop and maintain risk register
- Actively contribute to process improvement whenever possible
- Build performance driven relationships with key suppliers
- Develop appropriate Supplier Management tools and processes and guide the business through the execution and use of those tools and processes
- Build next layer of experts
- Provide expertise and support building out of procurement tools and processes as required
- Act as a promoter for the Genpact Sourcing and Supplier management framework and drive best practice through its use
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Graduate from Institute of repute
- MBA in engineering/supply chain from a reputed B school
- Relevant experience managing sourcing teams
- Knowledge of supplier market
- Experience creating deal strategy and leading supplier negotiations
- Proven track record of leading large, complex, category management activities at enterprise level including multi geographies.
- Ability to leverage a range of influencing techniques at senior levels within an organization
- Functional knowledge of technology tools / platforms in the supply chain space (SAP SNP/DP, JDA SCP/DM/Factory Planner, Llamasoft Optimization, Kinaxis Rapid Response)
Preferred qualifications
- Certification: CPM from ISM & Six Sigma certification
- Proven track record of delivering savings
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Proficiency in Procurement and other business related systems e.g. Oracle, Ariba etc.
- Ability and experience of coaching in procurement management best practice
