What are we looking for a Product Leader : (B2C Unicorn Ecommerce platform)

We are looking for the following :

- Customer Empathy : Ability to think from a users perspective, identify their needs an help keep them front and center of product building and groom the team to do so as well.

- Structured Problem Solving : Bringing structure to an ambiguous problem space an ensure you approach a solution methodically. Be able to prioritize what is important an get everyone to focus on that.

- Communication Skills : Bring clarity to the entire team about what we are trying t solve and why; and be able to lead a group of people through influence. Ability t communicate at all levels within the company and represent the company externally.

- Analytical Skills : Comfortable in solving problems and taking decisions through the use of data; yet able to move forward in absence of perfect data.

- Thinking Big and Small : Able to zoom out and view the larger picture as well as able to focus on the tiny details.

- People Leadership : Ability and experience in hiring and grooming high performers an keeping the team motivated and focused.

- Passion for Technology : Believe in the power of technology to transform businesses and know it well enough to be able to know to be able to make quick trade-offs amidst resource constraints.

- Growth Mindset : Always on the lookout for improvements and learn from failures .Seek and share constructive feedback and help build a similar mindset in the team.

How will the hiring process be like :

A typical hiring process for a Product Leadership at our company has the following steps :

1. Getting to know you Round - In a 60-90 min discussion, we would like to understand details of your professional background, your past career choices and future career aspirations. We would like to know you better as a person, what motivates you, what kind of people do you give your best with and how do you build and groom your team.

2. Product Interview - This round will typically consist of 2-3 problems to gauge you on some of the competencies listed earlier and should take 60 min.

3. Case Study and Presentation - We would like to give you a small case study on a product problem to understand your thinking and decision making process outside an interview environment. We will share more details on it along with the problem statement and expect you to create a deck and present the same to a group of PMs. This is to gauge your presentation skills as well as get you introduced with some of the PMs on the team. We expect this to take 5-6 hours of your time.

4. Leadership Interviews - We would get 2-3 senior leaders from the company to interact with you. The goal here is to gauge culture fit, people leadership skills and growth mindset along with an opportunity for us to share more about the business and answer any specific questions that you may have.

5. Reference Checks - We would like to speak to at least 2 of your past managers or peers who have worked with you for at least a year to gather some feedback about you.

We will ask you for references towards the end of our process.

If we are confident that we will not be able to proceed with your candidature at any point during

the process, we will let you know and ensure that we do not take up more of your time.

Equipment you will need :

- For virtual interviews, we use Google Meet. We recommend the use of a laptop/desktop computer with broadband connection for the best experience. You will also need a webcam and a headset with a mic.

- For the product assignment, you can use any format for your submission (doc, presentation or anything else), so feel free to use the tool of your choice.

What can you expect from us :

- We will trust you and treat you with respect. We are trying our best to find the right talent for us both in terms of the skill set and right cultural fit. Even if we don't think we can hire you right now, we are thankful that you considered working with us amongst so many other potential companies and invested time in talking to us.

- We will keep you informed on the progress of the process and close the loop with you as soon as we have a decision made from our side. We know that interviewing can be an anxiety inducing process for most people and we will do our best to run the process within a tight timeline and not keep you in the dark.
