About the role
The role reports to India HR Site Leader and functionally aligned to the Diversity and Inclusion COE.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for development, and implementation of a comprehensive Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy and work closely with the leader to develop strategies, and execute on the D&I goals and objectives.
- Develops and implements D&I programs, events, in collaboration with business and HR.
- Develops metrics for measuring the effectiveness of diversity plans and initiatives.
- Monitors and reports D&I metrics, and makes recommendations as appropriate.
- Conducts reviews to discuss progress and credibly challenges any barriers towards creating an inclusive workplace. Brings an outside-in perspective, and leads with influence, while working with leaders
- Maintains good industry connect, benchmarks trends, and policies. Stays current on D&I programs, and global D&I trends and developments
- Supports internal communication campaigns to promote understanding, celebrate diversity and highlight key achievements. Participates in external/PR strategies, to integrate diversity messages, and increase understanding through research and award papers
- Manages diversity councils and Team Member Networks and ensures effective engagement and implementation.
- Lead and develop a high performing passionate team
Essential Qualifications
- 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 8-10 years in D&I, and an acknowledged diversity champion in the industry
- Must have a good understanding of Industry trends and practices including regulatory requirements
- Must be able to demonstrate results in impacting business outcomes and must be an innovative leader.
- Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas
- Takes ownership for responsibilities and for management of risk exposure
- A seasoned, relationship-driven executive with ability to work within a highly complex business environment, and a multi-cultural workforce is a must.
- Exhibits excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated expertise in Stakeholder Engagement and People Leadership.
