Leader - Warehouse Operations - eCommerce

Job Profile:

- Setting up and running warehouse operations.

- Identify and closely work with external warehousing vendors to set up the warehouses. Build scalable warehouse processes as per business requirements.

- Identify and evaluate appropriate Warehouse management systems including setup, testing and customization as required to meet business requirements.

- Build and lead Operations team.

- Drives continuous improvement in our work streams through creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, automation initiatives and other lean initiatives, as required, to meet business goals.

- Responsible for overall safety, security, quality, performance and customer/vendor experience metrics of warehousing, inbound and outbound operations.

- Works closely with partner and support internal teams to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area.

Desired Profile:

- MBA from Tier 1 B School with 10 - 15 year of experience in warehouse operations from FMCG / eCommerce / retail industry.

- Experience in setting up the warehouse operations from the scratch within agreed timelines. Post setting up the operations, he/she should be able to execute day-to-day operations with high performance levels.
