Leader - Technical Accounting - Conglomerate - CA

Our client a leading conglomerate is looking to hire a Lead for technical accounting.

The person shall be responsible for providing technical accounting guidance and assisting with the reporting process and. This requires close collaboration with various functions within the company and continuing process improvement within finance function. Responsibilities:

- Preparation of technical memos on various accounting issues including new/ complex transactions under IFRS/ Ind AS

- Analysis of technical updates/ developments

- Preparation of accounting and disclosure checklists and providing inputs on financial statements

- Working on implementation of other accounting and reporting changes: New standards (IFRS/ Ind AS), Companies Act etc.

- You MUST be a qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 years of experience in Technical accounting.

- Incumbent needs to have good knowledge of closing/consolidation processes and good understanding of IFRS.
