Leader - Proposal & Creative Design

- Proven success leading a service oriented team in a global, fast paced, high pressure environment

- Proven experience writing and leading (cross-functional teams in) successful proposal response efforts, and client presentation development

- Ability to visualize the future areas of focus for the team, and guide and lead them towards success

- Ability to design and deliver appropriate SLAs and metrics to build and continuously improve delivery impact of the team

- Proven success hitting deadlines and managing competing expectations / demands

- Comfortable with Barbara Minto principles of communication for creating proposals, presentations, reports etc.

- Ability to communicate effectively with VPs, Practice Partners and Consultants across geos and practices, and understand and meet the specified requirements

- Familiar and comfortable with the creative design process and using these to make compelling client facing artifacts

- Represent Proposal & Creative Design team and talk about the team in front of large audiences and clients' senior management

- Multi-tasking and ability to convert ideas into high impact graphics and differentiated ways to communicate to clients

- Knowledge of tools such as Photoshop, Flash, Corel Draw, MS Visio, etc. would be a plus.

- Capability to handle sensitive and complex issues with discretion and good judgment

- Ability to attract, retain, and develop world class team talent

- 12+ years of experience - consulting background a plus; should have global service experience, proposal experience, business communication experience, team leadership experience

Roles & Responsibilities (in detail)

- Lead a team of 4-5 members, and assign tasks

- Owns providing business writing, graphics, media and creative communication support to all XXX client-facing projects/initiatives

- Handle all stages of the proposal development and graphics value chain- from formulating design to presenting insightful representations

- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology

- Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers

- Responsible to ensure team gathers & develops reusable templates, designs, formats etc. and then use it for knowledge creation that will be of value to XXX consultants and clients globally

- Tracking the latest trends in information graphics and implementing the same in XXX

- Contribute in template designing of thought leadership activities like XXX-POVs (Point of Views) and white papers

- Manage interactions and expectations with internal XXX clients to shape the requirements and work on it or delegate, as required

- Manages/Supports manager to ensure that the team is effectively utilized. Creates and communicates weekly status report, monthly and on as needed basis reports on KPIs of usage of team, business impact delivered.
