IT Technology Leader with an InsureTech in Gurugram
We are seeking an innovative and visionary IT Technology Leader to join our organization.
The IT:
Technology Leader will be responsible for shaping and driving our technology strategy, overseeing the implementation of advanced IT solutions, and leading a team of skilled IT professionals. This role demands a forward-thinking individual with extensive technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a strong commitment to leveraging technology to achieve business goals. The role would require leadership across product development, implementation, innovation and skill development.
What you will do:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive Technology strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives
2. Provide technology leadership and guidance to the team and clients
3. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and maintain the company at the forefront of the technology evolution
4. Ensure the technology portfolio is robust, scalable, and secure
5. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage
6. Define and drive platform technology, architecture and solution roadmap
7. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and track progress
8. Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, including developers, engineers, and support staff
9. Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team
10. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
11. Develop and enforce best engineering policies, procedures, and practices
12. Communicate IT strategy, initiatives, and performance to executive leadership and other stakeholders

DB, SQL and associated technologies
Cloud technologies
DevOps and CI technologies
Tech Architecture, Design and Solution development
Angular, React and other Front end technologies
Mobile technologies
AI ML, BigData
Other requirements:
1. Should have played the role of Tech Arch, Technology leader for a mid to large size IT
organization
2. Handled mid to large size IT teams
3. Preferable in Core insurance platform development would be an added advantage
4. Go getter who can drive organizational change
5. Experience in CMM-L3 and above and has deep knowledge and hands-on experience in
processes driven development
6. Good communication skill and comfortable with public speaking
