Job Purpose
- Track Investment performance and publish periodic dashboard
- Support manager on selected business strategic project and strategic analysis of various identified sector
- Evaluate new business investment opportunity, M&A support, due diligence etc
- Support department with analysis for decision making and perform quarterly performance dashboard against budget. Monitor capex proposal and provide necessary support in evaluating feasibility
- Supervise and Government enterprise budget in line with strategy and Policy & Process w.r.t. annual operating and capital budgets. Works closely with the finance team of different entities and support to ensure timely closure
- Develop management reporting tools in consultation with Functional Head and ensure periodic reporting of financial performance compared to budgets.
Key responsibilities
Financial and Portfolio Analysis
- Manage and develop mechanism to provide accurate, timely, high quality financial analysis and advice to decision-makers
- Designs reporting format to aid portfolio performance measurement, evaluation and attribution
Strategic projects
- Government investment portfolio tracking and analysis from time to time to provide critical input
- Work on identified strategic project for the businesses
- Support manager on M&A, Due Diligence or new business opportunity evaluation
- Ensures timely collation, consolidation and submission of management and operational information as per the reporting templates specified from time to time.
Planning & Budgeting
- Supervise and manage and work with leadership to discuss critical issues & ensure strategic issues are addressed in implementation of budget policies and processes in timely manner
- Support the annual budgeting process and to ensure its effective & timely completion
- Review the budget and provide critical overview on strategic matters to businesses
Requirements:
Experience of working in Middle Eastern country for a Pharma Client / firm is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance
- CA/ ACCA/ CPA / MBA from a recognized professional institution
- Qualified finance professional with 7-12 years- experience in FP&A in a Big 4 / Consulting firm handling Pharma clients or in a similar role in a large Pharmaceutical firm.
- Have an understanding of commercial strategic drivers and key indicators to perform financial analysis
- Capital Expenditure evaluation ability and past experience in feasibility studies
- Managing the team and dealing in multiple sectors
