Position Description: Finance Partner - FP&A

Summary of Responsibilities

Cloudtail seeks a Finance Business Partner who would be integral part of the Accounting and Controllership team. This leader is expected to demonstrate ownership, Bias for action, dive deep and insist on high standards. He / she needs to identify process improvement opportunities, prepare retail specific MIS, and support business leaders to drive positive change across the organization. This leader will be responsible for collating inputs from all business leaders to consolidate Cloudtail's R&O present our trends versus plan to the business leadership.

Primary responsibilities:

- Create accurate, transparent, and timely financial analysis to support leadership in decision making process; clearly articulate financial implications of business decisions / choices, and provide analysis on new proposals

- Engages with leadership to achieve financial and business goals; work closely with them to meet financial goals and supports financially sound decision making

- Continuous assessment of business functioning and establish a management reporting process

- Identify key metrics/drivers for business and drive improvement actions from a finance perspective

- Prepare and drive the Weekly Business Review and Monthly Business reviews with business and drive continuous improvements

Preferred Qualifications:

- 6+ years of Experience in business finance. Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance.

- Strong analytical skills

- Experience working with cross-functional teams

- Fluency in Excel and SQL

- Solid communication skills - written and verbal

Competencies:

- Working knowledge of OracleERP

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment

- Preferred experience in building and managing Financial Models

- Prior experience of Organised retail will be added advantage
