About Our Client
Our client is a major Indian Multinational which covers majority market share in the manufacturing of specialty chemicals. With a turnover of over Rs. 1500 crores, our client has a presence pan India, North America, Africa and Middle East employing over 1000 employees. With increasing demand in the industrial and home personal care segments and sound growth plans in India, they are currently looking for a Leader Commercial to support the business-finance functions.
Job Description
Reporting into the Commercial Controller, your responsibilities are as below :
- Delivering on pricing strategy for the organization and help optimize cost to enable higher EBIT
- Working closely with the sales and commercial team to lay out long term plans for the business and participate in key commercial decision making
- Formulating budgets for the year and ensuring the business performance is in line with the Company’s objectives
- Providing key metrics to evaluate peer competition, market entry strategy and other structure models to identify new business opportunities
- Reporting and analyzing of Product-Customer ROCE and optimization of the same.
- Effective monitoring of working capital and trade terms
The Successful Applicant
- You must be a CA with 5-9 years post qualification experience in the business finance area within the manufacturing space. You are closely associated in a business support role and have delivered pricing and budgeting strategies for the organization. You have strong exposure in a manufacturing / chemicals /
health care space.
- You must have adept knowledge on taxation and trade laws to enable key business decisions. Experience and familiarity of Excise and Customs Laws, Exim Policy, International Trade Agreements will be an added advantage.
