Job Title: Treasury Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Treasury function, ensuring the development and management of the Treasury framework, including processes, tools, and governance structures.
- Develop and execute hedging strategies for commodities and foreign exchange (FX) risks.
- Oversee cash flow planning and monitoring to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Lead debt programs, including new raises, restructuring, and management of legal documentation.
- Regularly monitor financial covenants to ensure compliance with agreements.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders such as lenders, investors, bankers, and consultants.
- Manage working capital requirements, both fund-based and non-fund-based, to optimize operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for bankers, managing banking arrangements and related services.
- Support ERP enhancement initiatives and work to automate Treasury-related operational tasks.
- Assist with periodic book closure activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for Treasury.
- Generate and distribute MIS reports to management, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate in periodic audits, limited reviews, and due diligence processes with external auditors (Big4).
- Maintain a robust internal control framework, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with RCM.
- Lead investment decision-making for surplus funds, adhering to a clearly defined investment policy.
Key Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
- In-depth experience in Treasury management, including hedging, cash management, debt structuring, and financial risk management.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of MS Office and GSuite.
- Proven track record in building and scaling Treasury teams, systems, and processes within a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5-8 years in Treasury management functions, ideally within industries such as Automotive, Retail, or Ecommerce.
