Lead - Talent Acquisition - Construction Firm
Collaborate with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with Leadership Teams, Hiring Managers, HR Head, and global TA teams to understand resourcing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Embed Diverse and Inclusive Practices:
- Ensure that recruitment practices promote diversity and inclusivity at every stage of the process.
Advise on Hiring Strategies:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their resourcing and growth plans.
- Provide guidance on permanent and contract hiring strategies aligned with business objectives.
Implement Resourcing Strategies:
- Set resourcing strategies for each role, leveraging employee referrals, advertising, industry publications, job boards, etc.
- Develop social media campaigns and optimized job adverts to attract relevant candidates.
Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Proactively source, screen, and present qualified candidates to Hiring Managers.
- Manage candidates through the interview process and guide them through to offer acceptance.
Data Management:
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Gather and share market intelligence with the reward team and other TA colleagues.
Talent Pipeline Development:
- Build talent pipelines for strategic-level positions with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
Continuous Improvement:
- Strive to improve service levels for all stakeholders by seeking out and recommending creative talent attraction and assessment methods.
- Provide quarterly reporting on challenges, achievements, and initiatives.
Global Collaboration:
- Work with the Global Recruitment Manager to ensure best practices are implemented in the region.
- Actively participate in global projects and initiatives as a member of the global TA community.
Skills & Experience:
Leadership and Communication:
- Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, time management, and negotiation skills.
Stakeholder Management:
- Exhibit strong skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels.
Recruitment Expertise:
- Bring extensive experience in talent acquisition, preferably within engineering, construction, or consultancy sectors, with a proven track record in managing recruitment efforts.
Strategic Thinking:
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement successful recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.
Technology Proficiency:
- Possess proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software, and candidate databases.
Legal Compliance:
- Have knowledge of employment laws and regulations relevant to the recruitment process in India.
Team Leadership:
- Show experience in leading, managing, and developing a team of Talent Acquisition consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Analytical Skills:
- Utilize data and reporting to inform resourcing strategies and drive insightful decision-making.
