Job Purpose:
- Responsible to work with Head Strategy for Business Planning, Growth Strategy, Competitive Analysis, Business Transformation
- Works with the business heads to support the development of strategies for organizational effectiveness
- Identifies and recommends the various options available for the short, medium, and long-term development plans of the organization.
Strategy Formulation:
- Develop the medium-term and long-term business strategy to run, transform and diversify the business areas
- Work closely with top leadership to identify the long-range, strategic goals
- Align strategic initiatives with the vision and mission in line with BU priorities
- Formulate sustainable strategic priorities that can adapt to suit the changing demands of customers and consumers
- Provide strategic support to BUs to drive alignment between Corporate and BU
- Support Head Strategy & Transformation in evaluating new geographies, markets, and other opportunities.
Business Sensing & Analysis:
- Collect data on market shifts and trends that could cause change/disruption, and adjust the strategy according to any implications they bring
- Apply understandings from market analysis to medium and long-term strategic planning and individual BUs
- Provide input on top-down strategic risks threats and opportunities, and develop consequential insights to support top leadership decision making
- Setup and execute processes to proactively identify business opportunities.
Analyze and prioritize business opportunities:
- Support in capability building & resolving critical business issues
- Collaborate with multiple parts of the organization for business in- sighting via holistic inputs from the market, customer, and regulatory viewpoints across the businesses
- Perform data analysis and build analytical models to support business decisions
Functional strategies
- Support the corporate functions in detailing specific strategies and plan
- Monitor and track overall functional performance
- Leveraging inter-business synergies and value chain integration

Education Qualifications / Background:
- Degree in Engineering / Mathematics / Commerce
- MBA
Relevant and Total Years of Experience:
- 13 to 18 years of experience in a manufacturing organization/strategy management role in any reputed large size organization;
- Preferable to have candidates with strategy experience from consultants or professionals with chemicals, Pharma agricultural chemicals industry/strategy function experience of large corporates
